About the Flag of Brazlândia
The flag of Brazlandia was created in June in a competition open to the public, launched in 1992 by the Regional Administrator Ronan Batista,
with the requirement it had a symbol that represents the three pioneer families of Brazlandia. The winner of the competition was the teacher Cícero José de Jesus.
ASPECTS OF THE FLAG:
- The color blue refers to the potential of the region's waters at the time, responsible for supplying much of the consumption of DF.
- The color green refers to the potential agriculture also being
responsible for much of the production consumed in the Federal District.
- The three pillars is the symbol of the pioneers and was the only requirement of the competition.
- The white geometric figures are an allusion to the development of the city in line with the architecture of palaces of Brasilia.
- The tractor is a direct reference to the agricultural potential that characterizes us.
