Diagonally divided by black with striding white, yellow-armored and tongued lion and by white with upright striding red bear with black collar, above all blue wavy diagonal bar, separated from the black field with white thread.
A combination of the two flags/coats of arms of the former local communities of Basadingen (bear) and Schlattingen (lion). The blue wavy diagonal bar symbolizes the Geisslibach brook.

On 1 January 1999 the two communes formed through merger the new commune of Basadingen-Schlattingen.
