Shield bendy of eight of Gules and Argent, over all a triplemount Argent issuant from base, chief Argent a fess wavy Azure.
Meaning:
The fess wavy in chief is a canting element and representing the name giving Tiefenbach, a creek. The triplemount is referring to the Lordship of Schneeberg (= snowy mountain) and to the former municipality of Altenschneeberg, which had been incorporated into Tiefenbach in 1972, together with Hannesried and Irlach. The bendy shield is taken from the arms of the Polheim family and is also representing other families, who owned the lordship.
