Shield Sable a lion rampant issuant Or, crowned, armed and tongued Gules, chief parted per fess of Sable and Argent charged with a pale Sable.
Meaning:
The chief is a differentiation of the personal arms of Ulrich of Mendorf, who was the first possessor of Oberdolling Castle in 1339. The lion is taken from the family arms pf the Barons of Hegnenburg-Dux, who owned the Oberdolling district (Bavarian: Hofmark) since 1692, in exchange with the Oberhaunstadt district, until 1821.
