Neidlingen Coat of Arms

Shield Vert, a serifed initial "N" Argent, chief Argent charged with an oak branch Vert in fess acorned thrice of the same.
Meaning:
The village had been a possession of the Lords of Speth since 1443, of the Lords of Freyberg since 1551, a free Imperial Village since 1564, finally a possession of the Dukes of Württemberg since 1596.The village gained town status in 1618, but had had a proper seal at least since 1604. During the 17th and 18th century the local seals already displayed the initial, but with different additions. The oak branch was introduced in 1953.
