Shield Or a wolf salient Sable, armed and tongued Gules and superimposing a wreath of hops Vert with three umbels and one leaf.
Meaning:
The wreath is alluding to the economic importance of the cultivation of hops in the municipality. The number of umbels is representing the former municipalities of Wolfersdorf proper, Berghaselbach and Dürnhaindlfing. The wolf is taken from the personal seal of Wilhelm of Wolfersdorf (1340-1403). Members of his kin owned the namesake district (Bavarian: Hofmark) in the 14th and 15th century.The wolf furthermore is a canting element.
