Krumbach Coat of Arms

In a Baroque cartouche Or shield Gules a bend sinister wavy Argent.
Meaning:
Krumbach had been a possession of Austria and gained the rights of a market town in 1370. Seal prints are known since 1386. They already displayed the canting creek (German: Bach), represented by the bend sinister wavy. Between the end of the 18th century until 1938 the bend sinister was replaced by a bend, proven by a semi-official painting from 1818. Baroque seals displayed a crown with five points, which was prohibited in 1819. The tinctures are those of the Austrian Margraviate of Burgau, to which Krumbach belonged since 1301. Krumbach gained city rights in 1895.
