Shield Gules, in chief a bend Argent, in centre a 6-point star Argent and in base two hammers Argent in saltire.
Meaning:
The bend is taken from the family arms of the Lords of Töpen, who lived in the village until the 14th century. The star is taken from the family arms of the Lords of Beulwitz, who lived there from the 16th until the 18th century. The hammers are alluding to ore mining in the nearby Leuchtholz, a wood.
The seal has a black circumscription "BAYERN" (above) and "GEMEINDE TÖPEN" (below).
