It is a yellow - green - yellow horizontal triband with ratio 1:3:1 (acc. to Hauptsatzung 1:2:1). The coat of arms is slightly shifted to the top.
Source: I spotted this banner on 25 November 2013 in the local town hall and draft given to Main State Archive Hannover on 22 November 1955.

In a golden shield are six green oak leaves ordered 3:3.
Meaning:
Each oak leaf is representing one of the six primordial farms from which the village arose.
