Shield parted per fess; above parted per pale, at dexter Gules a beehive Or, at sinister Argent a hammer Sable in pale, superimposed by a horseshoe of the same; beneath Azure a fish Or.
Meaning:
The beehive is canting, as the name of the municipality is supposed to be a settlement of beekeepers. The fish is alluding to fishery on the Regen River, having riches of fish in the past. Hammer and horseshoe are reminding on the numerous local blacksmiths in the past. They are based on a shield, depicted on a painting of the Mount of Olives in the local parish church, made in 1505.
