Shield parted twice per bend sinister of Sable, Or and Gules, the central field is charged with a cross patty Sable.
Meaning:
Before 1930 the municipality just had a stamp, displaying a cross patty, probably a local symbol, surrounded by a wreath. A stamp from 1939 just displayed a black cross in a golden field in Petra Sancta code. Source doesn't say, when the wreath disappeared.

The banner was approved on 2 December 1967 by Minister of Interior of Baden-Württemberg, published in GABl 400/1968. The arms of 1930 were tacitly confirmed after 1957 without approval and finally in 1967, when the banner was introduced.
