Netzschkau Coat of Arms

Shield Argent, on lawn Vert a gardener dressed Azure fixing a young tree Vert by a pole, from dexter chief a hand proper coming out from clouds Argent and pouring water to the tree out of a can Azure.
Meaning:
Netzkau was founded in 1496 as a market town and gained city rights in 1687. The arms are based on a city seal from the 18th century. The design suggests that it had been made by a member of a predecessor of the Unity of Herrnhut Brethren ( Latin: Unitas Fratrum), founded by Nikolaus Ludwig Count of Zinzendorf and Pottendorf. The count gave a new home to Moravian refugees.
