Shield Gules, parted by a throughout bridge Argent with three arches, in chief an eagle reguardant Argent nimbed Or, in base a grapevine Or.
Meaning:
The bridge is a representation of the local crossing of the Tauber River. The bridge was built by Balthasar Neumann. The eagle is an attribute of St. John the Evangelist. The grapevine is symbolising viticulture. The basic colours are those of the Bishopric of Würzburg.
