The series' 2009 episode Moon Over Isla Island (second episode, fifth season) was a fairly direct parody of the film Moon Over Parador; the name of the fictional country is an obvious redundancy, Island Island.
The flag of Isla is shown in the course of the episode
and in this promotional still,
though the two do not match; the episode flag has
several stripes and a yellow portion, while the one in the still appears to
simply be blue with a thin red border and red diamonds.

I think the still shows only the bottom of the flag, in which case the only difference would be the absence of a thin blue stripe along the bottom. Watching the whole episode for panning out of the scene in
the still may corroborate this.

It does show only part of the flag, and the,
wider, shot before it does show the whole of them. But, ignoring for a
moment that the folds fall rather curiously, at the hoist the blue is
clearly more narrow than what we have, while at the fly it seems wider
than both our hoist and the hoist in the same picture. Other details
between the images differ as well.

This flag seems to have been influenced by the flag of Guam,
or of Belize.
