Lloyds gives Evangelos P. Nomikos Corp. as being formed in 1930 and which still operates as E. Nomikos Corporation.
The group includes Southern Steamships (Pty.) Ltd., and Northern
Steamships, Johannesburg, as well as ships sailing under Greek, Liberian
and American flags.
The Caltex book of flags and funnels (1959) [scx59] shows the house flag of Nomikos Group as quartered per saltire orange-white-green-blue.

Companies of the World (1971 [stg71], 1982 [lgr82] and 1995 [lgr95] editions) shows the same flag (photo), as does an article by R.S. Fenton in the World Ship Society Marine News, 6/1976.

Brown's Flags and Funnels of Shipping Companies of the World (1951) [wed51] shows the house flag of Petros M. Nomikos Ltd., a company based in Piraeus, as white with two thin horizontal blue stripes and a blue Maltese cross in the middle.
