Overview

Kispest, Budapest XIX. district has got a resolution about its name and coat of arms but no flag. see Res. No. 16/1994 (IX.22.) modified by the Res. No. 4/2001 (II.28.) at <www.kispest.hu>.

When I visited the exhibition in the museum, for this one the coat of arms was shown on the exhibition, but the flag was not.

The ratio of the flag is 2:3. The flag is based upon Res. No. 18/2001 (V.25) of the community on 25th May 2001 at <www.kispest.hu>.

This flag appears at Dr. Széll Sándor: Városaink neve, címere és lobogója (1941) as "Kispest, Pest-Pilis-Solt-Kiskun Co.". Red and blue horizontal diband.
