Description

Regional Council Gan Rave (meaning "watered garden") is situated on the sea shore, south of Rishon LeZiyyon, east of Rehovot and Nes Ziyyona and north of Yavne . Est. 1952, 5,000 inh. Its name is taken from the bible (Isaiah 58,11 and Jeremiah 31,12). The desk flag is white with blue emblem, but there could be changes when it is used as a hoisted flag. The municipal emblem was published in the official gazette (Rashumot), 'Publications Gazette' section (Yalkut ha'Pirsumim), YP 942, 12 July 1962.

Isaiah 58,11:

Regional Council of Gan Rave govern eight settlements: Bet Hanan, Ge'alya, Bet Oved, Gan Soreq, Kefar HaNagid, Neta'yim, Palmachim and Ayanot youth village.
