Elpida Memory, Inc. was a computer-memory manufacturer formed in 1999 by the merger of the former NEC, Hitachi and Mitsubishi memory divisions. Its flag showed up in a recent news report about its February 2012 bankruptcy: white with the word "ELPIDA" in blue italicised capitals. The company was acquired by Micron as of 31 July 2013.
