The Flag

The flag of the city of Higashine is blue with mark.

The city emblem was adopted on Nov 3rd 1960 but there is no flag law. The blue flag has a yellow city emblem in the center. The city emblem is a stylized hiragana ひ Hi of Hogashine. The large and the smaller two circles symbolize a peace, a collaboration,an unity, a repletion of the contents and a vigor.
