The town emblem was adopted on Jan 1st 1965 but there is no flag law.
The green flag has a yellow town emblem in the center.
The town emblem is a stylized hiragana み Mi of Mikawa.
The green color stands for a fatness and the yellow color for hopes.
It represents a solidarity of the three areas and a surge.
