Mibu town in Tochigi adopted its flag on 5 July 1960.

The emblem and flag were adopted in 1960 - Town notice no. 20.
The emblem consists of stylised katakan mibu ミブ forming a
circle (with wings), standing for townspeople together advancing for the
future of Mibu town, in harmony and unlimited development/growth and glory.
