The town emblem was adopted on Jan 22nd 1960 but there is no flag law. The
blue flag has a white town emblem in the center. The town emblem is stylized
kanji 甘Kan and katakana ラ Ra in a form of a flying pigeon as symbol of peace.
The circle symbolizes a peace and a concord of the town. It represents a wish
for the town to make a leap forward and develops.
