The town emblem was adopted on Mar 25th 1981 but there is no flag law. The blue flag has a white town emblem in the center and the town kanji name in white at lower hoist. The town emblem expresses katakana ニシカツラ by combined three triangles. It represents an image of the town which is making progress with people’s cooperation and becoming a ring.
