The city emblem was adopted on Mar 24th 2005 but there is no flag law. The blue flag has a white city emblem in the center. The city emblem is a stylized T of Takahashi in a form of a sightseeing spot Matsuyama castle.
The pine needles represent an image of the city in which industrial resources extend to the four directions-overseas.
