Flag

Located in Maebashi City Gunma Prefecture and was established in 1949. The university flag has a purple background with a gold emblem in the center. The kanji letters "大學" is placed in the center of the emblem which is surrounded by the three Jomo Mountains of Akagi, Haruna, and Myogi, the symbols of Gunma Prefecture, symbolizing Gunma University.
