Flag

Located in Nagoya City Aichi Prefecture and established in 1964. The university flag has green background with a white emblem. The university emblem is in the shape of a mirror of Yata, one of the three sacred weapons that Amaterasu, a goddess revered in Japanese mythology as the creator of the nation, passed down to her descendants, with the first letter of the university name, "名" symbolizing education to create pure people and graceful Japanese women, just like the school mirror.
