Located in Shinagawa City Tokyo and established in 1924.
The embroidered ceremonial flag has dark green background with a gold emblem,
in gold fringe. The school color, green, is also derived from the evergreen color of tachibana mandarin trees, and expresses the new life and eternal vitality that pervades the school.
The university flag has green background with a white emblem.
The university emblem is "大學" supported by a Tachibana mandarin. Tachibana was a favorite plant of Nichiren Shonin, and the fragrance of its pure white flowers and the bright green leaves symbolize that Rissho University is a garden for those who seek the truth, respect justice, and work hard to achieve peace.

Kenpo club; The club flag has green background with a white university emblem and horizontally written kanji university and club name in white.
