Located in Bunkyo City Tokyo and established in 1922. The embroidered ceremonial flag has orange background with a gold emblem in gold fringe. The university flag has orange background with a gold emblem. (Source) Since its founding under the name "Taiwan Association School," Takushoku University has had the "pioneering spirit" running through its history as an international university with the major goal of nurturing human resources who would go boldly abroad. After the school's name was changed to Takushoku University in 1918, the kanji abbreviated name "拓大" emblem began to be used as part of the university flag design.
