Located in Adachi City Tokyo and established in 1949. The embroidered ceremonial flag has purplish blue background with a gold and silver emblem and horizontally written gold kanji university name in gold fringe. The university flag has purplish blue background with a yellow and white emblem and yellow kanji university name horizontally written. When the Higher Technical School was established in March 1939, the motif of a lightning bolt was adopted as the motif of the design, which "expresses the electrical phenomenon that is the source of the electrical industry, which is the foundation of modern civilization, and also signifies the creation of the universe, which is alive and breathless, through this phenomenon. Later, when the university was established in 1949, the design was combined with the letters to form the school emblem of Tokyo Denki University.
