Coat of arms

Shield Vert parted per pall wavy, in chief a Marian crown Or, in dexter base an embattled tower Argent, in sinister base a cogwheel Argent. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials "PAÇÔ - ARCOS DE VALDEVEZ".
Meaning:
The Marian crown is representing Our Lady of Permanent Support, the local patron saint.
