Shield Gules, a Paschal Lamb Argent nimbed Or on chief and a fan of three wheat ears Or on base. Mural crown Argent with four visible towers (town rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "ATALAIA DO CAMPO".
Meaning:
The Paschal Lamb is an attribute of St. John the Baptist, the local patron saint. The ears are symbolising agriculture.
