Coat of Arms

Shield Argent a bend wavy Azure charged with two bendlets wavy Argent, on sinister chief a pine branch Vert in pale, on dexter base a corn plant Vert in pale fruited Or. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and short white scroll, in Bénard Guedes style, with inscription in black initials "BARROCA".

Presentation of Barroca

Barroca is one of the 18 communes of Fundão Municipality not affected by the 2013 changes; it had 378 inhabitants in 2021 and covers 23,1 km².
