Coat of Arms

Shield Argent a goat passant Sable with hooves and eyes Gules, on either chief corner a corn cob Gules in pale leafed Vert, on base a throughout bridge Sable with three arches masoned Argent and issuant from a base wavy of Azure and Argent. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and short white scroll, in Bénard Guedes style, with inscription in black initials "CAPINHA".

Capinha is one of the 18 communes of Fundão Municipality not affected by the 2013 changes; it had 411 inhabitants in 2021 and covers 39,64 km².
