Coat of arms

Shield Vert, between two bars wavy Argent, each one charged with a barrulet wavy Azure, an embattled curtain wall Argent masoned Sable, a crozier paly Or superimposing the whole. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials "CRISTOVAL".

Presentation of Cristóval

Cristóval Commune is one of the 13 communes of the Melgaço municipality (q.v.); it had 528 inhabitants in 2011 and covers 4.8 km².
