Coat of arms

Shield Argent with base wavy of Azure and Argent, a sparrowhawk Sable, armed Gules, in chief a scallop Gules between a grapevine Purpure leaved Vert at dexter and a cogwheel Purpure at sinister Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials "GAVIÃO - VILA NOVA DE FAMALICÃO".
