The rayon has 1 Town Council (Town of Bershad) and 28
Village Councils: Balanivs'ka, Byrlivs'ka, Velykokyriyivs'ka, Viytivs'ka,
Gholdashivs'ka, Dzhulins'ka, Dyakivs'ka, Kydrasivs'ka, Kosharynets'ka,
Krasnosil's'ka, Lisnychens'ka, Man'kivs'ka, Mykhaylivs'ka, M'yakokhids'ka,
Osiyivs'ka, Potashnyans'ka, P'yatkivs'ka, Serebriys'ka, Seredyns'ka, Stavkivs'ka,
Sumivs'ka, Ternivs'ka, Tyrlivs'ka, Ustyans'ka, Floryns'ka, Chernyats'ka,
Shlyakhivs'ka, and Yalanets'ka village council. Town of
Bershad has coat of arms and flag. Dzhulins'ka
(Village of Dzhulinka) has coat of arms, Potashnyans'ka
(Village of Potashnya) has coat of arms and flag,
and Shlyakhivs'ka (Village of Shlyakhova) has both coat of arms and flag. Other village councils has no adopted symbols, as far as I
know.

"Red rectangular panel with a ratio of the parties 2:3, on
it is white cross, in the centre of a cross is white sentry
tower.
The cross symbolizes river Pivdennyi Bug and its inflows - Dohna
and Udych"

Heraldry:
"It was confirmed in July, 12th, 2007 by the decision of
region council session. Gules; sentry tower argent accompanied at
the dexter chief by sun or, at the sinister chief by paty cross
argent. The authors are V.Maksymchuk, V.Konoval.
The tower is symbol of most ancient architectural building, which
was constructed in the Balanivka village in XVII century. The sun
and cross are symbols of Podillya and Volyn', old Ukrainian
lands, where is territory of modern region.
