The National Unified Service Command (NUSC) is a non-profit corporation that was organized to assist local, State and National authorities in times of crisis. Highly-trained volunteers comprise the Army, Air Force, Navy, Marines, Coast Guard and Maritime Guard Branches. The primary mission is to function as second responders. As second responders, the command provides community-oriented support services ranging from disaster preparedness and response, crowd control, search and rescue and traffic management. NUSC's secondary mission is to educate, train, and execute disaster prevention programs through group classes, seminars and on-site operations. NUSC's tertiary mission is to search out opportunities to partner with other organizations with similar goals and objectives.
