On this edition of The Orlando Sentinel from 1915, it says that there was
discussion in the municipality on adopting a flag. The female voters of the
municipality discussed whether it should be "cerise and lavender gored down the
sides and ruffled with val. lace, or made up en train of robin's egg blue
charmeuse trimmed with taupe lace and garnished with real Irish lace piping." If
I am being honest, I am not entirely sure what this means, but if any of these
were adopted, it was definitely not a conventional flag at all.
