Description of the flag

A blue flag, with the town seal in the center. The seal consists of a shield with a diagonal bar containing 3 square buttons, and a lion in the upper right and lower left. Below the shield is written HATHERLY GRANT 1656 and some branches, and around the seal are the town names and dates. Rockland is in Plymouth County.
