The flag of Midwest city can be seen on the city government's website, behind the photos of Mayor, councilmen, and other city leaders. The flag flies over several locations in the town also. The middle of the flag is the city seal, which includes a US flag, and a Boeing E-3 Sentry AWACS aircraft. The majority of the E-3 fleet is based at Tinker AFB which is "in" Midwest City. I was stationed there for 5 years flying many, many hours on the E-3 and spent much time in Midwest City. I can tell you the city seal is also on all police/fire patches, the side of squad cars, and posted at city buildings.

Recently, I purchased a lot of 4 by 6 inch flags which appear to be more than
20 years old from FlaggsUSA, including the former flag of Midwest City. This
flag uses blue and appears to use the former seal of Midwest City. Below the
device is text reading "MIDWEST CITY". I am assuming a more standard version of
the flag to be 3:5. No further information.

After asking the city, I received the resolution adopting the first city
flag. The former city flag was adopted as official on September 13, 1983.
The resolution provides reasoning for its adoption and reads: “WHEREAS, the
City of Midwest City has need of a focal point for its civic endeavors”. It was
also created in need of a city flag for its official acts.
