Bembe is a town located in Uíge Province in northern Angola.

Bembe - former municipal Arms and flag
During the colonial era, the town of
Bembe was officially designated the Council of Bembe (Concelho do Bembe)
in the District of Uíge. It's colonial
symbols were approved by the Portuguese Ministry of Overseas Territories and
published on 15 March 1962.

The colonial Arms were Of silver, three flatteries of green; black Chief laden with three silver coffee blossoms.

The colonial flag was quartered black
and green with the municipal Arms placed in the centre. Cords and tassels
of the same colour.
