Unequal triband of dark blue, white and dark blue charged on the white area with a local badge. This badge is circular with a black ring framing it all around and shows a landscape showing the midnight sun on a coastal ice-field with some black rock hills on background, and a human figure in blue parka doing playing a native drum
Tuktoyaktuk (also spelt Tuktuujaartuq, meaning "(looks like a caribou"), with a population of 943 (as of 1996), is located at 69°27'N lat. and 133°02'W long., on Kugmallit Bay, near the Mackenzie River Delta. Local languages are Inuvialuktun and English, and the community belongs to the electoral district of Nunakput and to land claim area of Inuvialuit.
