Shield Argent, a fess wavy Azure, in chief an attire Sable, in base two initials Sable "UR".
Meaning:
The municipality is located at the confluence of Reichenbach and Nagold. Kapfenhardt at the Western edge had been a dominion of Württemberg already in the 14th century, Unterreichenbach and the Lordship of Liebenzell became parts of Württemberg in 1603. Local seals from the 19th century already displayed attire and initials on a shield parted per fess. The fess wavy was added in 1934, symbolising the Reichenbach, a creek.
