Shield parted by a fess wavy Argent, above Azure a plough Argent, beneath Vert a millwheel Argent.
Meaning:
The plough is stressing th rural character. The fess wavy is a representation of the Gleise, a creek. The millwheel is symbolising the many watermills alongside the creek. Two of them still exist, a sawmill and a paper mill.
