Shield parted per pale, at dexter Gules parted by a chevron Argent filled Sable, at sinister Vert an eradicated fir Argent, chief Azure a stylised coronet Or being part of a cross.
Meaning:
The special cross (German: Kronenkreuz) is a symbol of German interior mission, as the local castle nowadays is used as a youth hostel of the German Protestant Church. The fir is referring to the local former imperial forest. The chevron is taken from the family arms of the Haller kin, who had forestal rights between 1483 and 1501.
