Meaning:
The arms were granted in 1935 and combine the cross of the Bishops of Fulda with the arms of the Lords of Lüder, who ruled the area in the Middle Ages.

Meaning:
The cross is alluding to Fulda Abbey, to which the village belonged in the past. The pattern on bend displays the arms of the Counts of Hanau.
