Shield Argent, on top of a mount issuant Vert a gate tower Gules with cone roof topped by a weather vane Or, flanked by embattled walls Gules masoned Sable.
Meaning:
The market town Zirndorf gained city rights in 1912. The tower is alluding to Schönburg Castle, which was bought by the Burgraves of Nürnberg in 1306 together with Zirndorf. The castle had been an important fortress during the 30-Years-War.
