The former banner was approved on 29 August 1967 by Minister of Interior of Baden-Württemberg, published in GABl 618/1967.

Shield Gules, a fess wavy Azure, superimposed by two stumps Argent in fess.
Meaning:
The name of the municipality means "creek near the stomps in a clearance area". The arms are thus canting.
