Triangular shield with embowed flanches barry of ten of Gules and Or a bend wavy Azure.
Meaning:
The barry shield displays the arms of the Counts of Rieneck. Lohr had been a city since around 1330. The residence and the ancestral sepulchre of the counts had been in Lohr until 1559. The blue bend wavy is a representation of the name giving Lohrbach, a creek. The pattern already appeared on the first local seal print from 1408 and hasn't changed since then. Only the colour of the bend wavy had been depicted as green by Otto Hupp.
