Shield parted per pale, a dexter a phoenix Argent ascending from flames issuant Gules, at sinister Argent a fess Azure.
Meaning:
The phoenix is taken from the arms of the Preisling family, who between 1706 and 1848 owned an estate as subjects under direct rule of the sovereign (German: Landsassen) and held the local cognisance in Trebsau. The phoenix furthermore is symbolising the "rebirth" of the municipality on 1 January 1994, after it had been incorporated into Irchenrieth in 1978. After a long struggle the independence was regained. The sinister half displays the arms of the Margraves of Leuchtenberg, to which the village belonged until the 17th century.
